The original Italian language edition of this book was published in Italy in 1955 under the title Costruire Correttamente (Constructing Correctly) by Ulrico Hoepli of Milan. This English language edition was translated by Giuseppina and Mario Salvadori. The author has supplied a number of new photographs and drawings to illustrate this edition.
