Projektas Padalink pusiau prasidėjo nuo estetinio galvosūkio – ar namui nestinga antrosios pusės? Keletą metų vis grįžtant į Vilijampolės gatveles ir kiemus, šis galvosūkis netrukus apaugo įvairiais kontekstais. Kompozicinis stygiaus pojūtis žvelgiant į tuščią erdvę šalia pusinių namų, įtaigiai atliepia šios vietos išgyventą netektį ir prarastą istorinę šios miesto dalies pusę. Šiaip ar taip, tiek namukai, tiek jų gyventojai nepamiršta to, kas prarasta – tą išgirsti galima net trumpame pokalbyje, per pertraukėlę tarp ūkio darbų. 

The Half Houses project began with an aesthetic puzzle - is this house missing a second half? Returning to the streets and courtyards of Vilijampolė for several years, this puzzle soon grew in various contexts. The compositional sense of scarcity when looking at the empty space next to the half-timbered houses, suggestively responds to the loss experienced by this place, and the lost historical side of a part of the city. Anyway, both the houses and their residents do not forget what was lost - you can hear it even in a short conversation, during a break between farm work.
