At Water is a new collection of landscape photographs by Seth Fluker depicting water in its many moods and textures across Canada and Japan.

Seth Fluker was born in 1982 in Ontario, raised in British Columbia, and now resides in Toronto. These days, as a photographer and filmmaker, Fluker is predominantly concerned with our attachment to place and the depiction of landscapes and water cycles. In 2019, he premiered his first short film, Pools, at the Vancouver International Film Festival. In 2017, Contact Photography Festival exhibited Blueberry Hill, a collection of Fluker’s Canadian landscape photographs, on thirty-two billboards across Canada. In 2016, Fluker’s self-published artist book, Before Things Change, was included in the exhibition Strange and Familiar: Britain as Revealed by International Photographers at the Barbican Centre in London, UK, curated by Martin Parr. In 2015, New Documents published Seth and Sheila Stayed Behind, which pairs a short story by critically acclaimed Canadian author Sheila Heti with Fluker’s photographs of anthropomorphized automobiles and embankments of dirty snow amongst a wintery Toronto landscape. In addition, Fluker’s photography books are held in numerous library collections worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art, Tate Britain, Yale University, and The Art Gallery of Ontario.
