This publication offers an introductory look at the work of Ernest Isbell Barott (1884–1966), who apprenticed at McKim, Mead, and White in New York before coming to Montréal. Barott designed two of the first skyscrapers in Montréal, the Bell Telephone Company Head Office on Beaver Hall Hill and the Aldred Building on Place d’Armes.
